In this role you will have the following accountabilities:
- Develop a forward internal Audit Plan/Schedule
- Procure and contract manage a suitably qualified internal audit company to conduct internal audits
- Facilitate and coordinate internal audits by identifying stakeholders, developing scope, scheduling meetings, gathering evidence and reviewing reports
- Prepare and draft reports for consideration by the Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee
- Implement the Shire's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
Our preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and skillset:
- Experience with and knowledge of reporting, risk, and audit frameworks and the ability to implement and imbed frameworks into an organisation.
- Well-developed written communication and report writing skills
- Demonstrated high level analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to set priorities and produce work that is timely, accurate and of a high professional standard
