We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to deliver a range of building and structural projects within our Capital Works Program. This role involves overseeing the delivery phase of the project lifecycle, from procurement through to construction, ensuring each project delivers outstanding value and quality for our residents. You will play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

What this role looks like:
• Administer contracts and control all incoming and outgoing project documentation
• Oversee the tendering, contract administration and project supervision
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and consultants
• Identify project risks and effective mitigation strategies.
• Prepare project briefs
• Plan, manage, and coordinate the delivery of projects across the portfolio
• Provide engineering, operational, and/or environmental advice
• Prepare and deliver project portfolio updates
• Represent Council at community and other forums
• Provide technical advice to management.
What are we seeking from our Senior Capital Works Project Officer:
1. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction or Project Management
2. White Card – General Construction Induction
3. Driver’s licence (Class C) - NSW
