Are you a strategic procurement leader who thrives on

capability? Manningham Council is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement
Specialist to lead key sourcing initiatives, uplift procurement maturity and
deliver high‑quality outcomes for our community.
In this key leadership role you
will:
- Lead, mentor and support a small team of
procurement specialists
- Champion best practice procurement and contract
management across the organisation
- Strengthen systems, frameworks and processes to
drive organisational compliance
- Build strong relationships across the
organisation to drive procurement maturity
- Partner with the organisation to uplift
capability in procurement and contract management

About the role
You will
play a key leadership role in delivering strategic, ethical and best‑practice
procurement and contract management across Manningham Council. Leading a small
team of specialists, the role partners closely with internal stakeholders to
drive value‑for‑money outcomes, strengthen governance and uplift organisational
capability. With a strong focus on collaboration, continuous improvement and
compliance, the position supports the delivery of essential services and
contributes to positive outcomes for the Manningham community.
Skills and experience
You will
bring strong leadership capability and extensive experience in strategic
procurement and contract management within a complex environment. With well‑developed
influencing, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, you will partner
effectively across the organisation to deliver value for money and strengthen
governance. You will demonstrate sound commercial judgement, a commitment to
best practice and continuous improvement, and the ability to build capability
by mentoring others and fostering a positive, collaborative learning culture.
