The Opportunity
Lead the Digital Development Team as the Software Development Team Lead for the City of Perth. You will champion engineering excellence, foster a positive team culture, and drive continuous improvement across processes and technology. You’ll bridge the gap between complex engineering and business strategy - advising senior management, prototyping innovative possibilities, and negotiating expert outcomes to shape the City’s digital future.
Reporting to the Business Solution Manager within our Software Development team, your responsibilities would primarily include to:
- Lead, support, and develop a high-performing team providing continuous improvement.
- Lead the design, development and deployment of software solutions.
- Design, build, and deliver secure, scalable applications.
- Drive digital solutions and collaborate with stakeholders.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Extensive experience in application design and development methodologies.
- Strong expertise across Microsoft technologies (Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Power Platform, SQL Server, Dynamics 365).
- Proven experience developing and deploying cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Advanced skills in RESTful APIs, web/console applications, and relational databases.
