This role is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering engaging programs and activities that inspire lifelong learning and support community wellbeing across Council’s libraries. The position plays a key role in supporting a diverse range of library programs and outreach activities, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, and contributing to the dynamic delivery, promotion and coordination of service-wide programs.

What this role looks like:
• Deliver high quality customer service in a high volume fast paced environment
• Plan and coordinate the delivery of programs and activities that support lifelong learning and community wellbeing across the libraries.
• Participate in a range of library programs and outreach activities including driving the Library vehicle.
• Actively seek out opportunities to partner to deliver programs and activities.
• Work with external providers to ensure supply meets agreed standards, procurement processes are adhered to and necessary documentation is verified.
What are we seeking in our new team member:
• Tertiary qualifications in Library & Information Services or related field or currently undertaking
• Drivers Licence (Class C) NSW.
• First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Working with Children Check
