Commencing mid 2026, for a period of two years, we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Development Contributions to join our organisation.
Maitland's population has been increasing by roughly 2.4% per year. Contributions help Council deliver the things our growing community loves and needs- from playgrounds and vibrant community spaces to sportsgrounds, local roads, and more. Our Development Contributions Graduate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of local infrastructure by assisting in the assessment, monitoring, collection, administration, and expenditure of contributions.

About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Degree level qualifications in either Town Planning, Civil Engineering, Business, Law, or Accounting, in the previous two years.
- An ability to analyse information, prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines and contribute to continuous improvement.
- An understanding of local government operations, planning legislation, and infrastructure delivery would also be highly regarded.
Benefits
This is a full time temporary two-year role, working a 35-hour week, with a salary commencing from $70,728.84 per year + 12% super. Graduates will also have access to Council's great staff benefits such as flexible working arrangements & fitness passport.
