JOB DESCRIPTION:
Are you currently studying a tertiary course in Town Planning, Environmental Planning, Urban and Regional Planning or a related field? If so, look no further. Our Student Planner program is a fantastic way to gain on-the-job experience that will help kick-start your new planning career in a dynamic Council experiencing unprecedented growth! Liverpool has a broad range of development applications that you are unlikely to find anywhere else in Sydney or NSW.
ABOUT YOU:
To be able to apply for the position you must be currently working towards a Diploma or Degree in town planning, regional, or urban planning, or similar. You will need a current Class C Drivers Licence and have or be willing to obtain a SafeWork NSW WHS Induction (White Card).
To succeed in this role you should have:
Experience in dealing directly with a range of customers and providing quality customer service.
Experience and ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated experience in report writing.
These skills will be an advantage in this role:
Ability to interpret planning legislation and Council's policies and procedures.
Ability to problem solve
