About the Role
As our Part-Time Cook, you'll play an important role in creating enjoyable dining experiences for our residents by preparing delicious, nutritious meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
This role includes:

Preparing and serving meals for residents

Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
-
Catering for special dietary requirements
-
Working collaboratively with a supportive kitchen and care team
-
Weekend shifts as part of a rotating roster
What You'll Bring
-
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality
-
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
-
Experience in bulk cooking (aged care or healthcare experience highly regarded)
-
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety compliance
-
Understanding of special dietary requirements
-
Strong communication and organisational skills
-
A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
-
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)

Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards (desirable)
