About the Role

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is seeking a creative and driven Content /Digital officer to help tell the stories that matter to graduate students. This role is responsible for creating engaging content across digital and print channels to strengthen GSA’s communications, marketing, and member engagement.

Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Officer, you will develop content for social media, newsletters, campaigns, events, publications, and the GSA website, while ensuring website content remains current, accessible, and engaging. You will also support advocacy and policy initiatives through compelling storytelling, design, and digital communications.

Combining content creation with data-driven insights, you will gather and analyse engagement data across digital platforms to measure performance, identify trends, and inform communication strategies. Collaborating with teams across GSA, you will help promote events, grow engagement, and showcase the experiences, achievements, and voices of graduate students.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

A relevant degree qualification in communications, marketing, digital media or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training and professional experience.
Demonstrated experience assisting with or delivering digital marketing and communications across social media, web and email.
Demonstrated experience creating and publishing social media content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, including scheduling through platforms such as Sprout Social.
Demonstrated experience with paid social media, including campaign set-up, targeting, optimisation and preparing routine performance reports.
Experience using WordPress, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software such as Capcut, premiere pro or similar to create, edit and maintain digital content.
