About the role
The Secondary Systems Manager is responsible for leading, developing and championing the delivery, safety, reliability and ongoing improvement of the SCADA and protection systems within Endeavour Energy.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in safety, ensuring a high safety accountability culture at all levels.
- Develop and drive leadership skills development across the team and develop succession and career progression plans for staff.
- Managing the delivery of project designs which allow efficient delivery of projects to meet objectives
- Leading change through the ongoing development of secondary systems and adoption of new technologies to optimise how we achieve our objectives, providing value for our customers
- Development and delivery of asset management plans to optimise total cost of ownership for our secondary systems, including the cost of risk
- Providing SME support across the business for issues which arise in operation of the network.
- Engage staff in the customer value improvement initiatives of the organisation and implement these initiatives across all groups to ensure the organisation meets its target of improving value to our customers.

- To maintain standards, credibility and provide consistent and collaborative leadership during significant times of change.
Qualifications, Certifications and Licences
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering with over 10 years of relevant industry experience, including proven leadership in technical roles
Licences/Tickets
- C Vehicle licence up to 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass (GVM)
- Workcover Induction for Construction Work - General Course
