About the role:
The Administration Officer – Water and Asset Management plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of Council’s infrastructure services. This includes maintaining accurate records, preparing reports and documentation, assisting with compliance and procurement processes, and coordinating communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. The position ensures efficient day-to-day operations and contributes to informed decision-making and customer satisfaction through consistent administrative systems and timely reporting.
This is a critical role for a Council that is committed transparency, teamwork, and delivering positive outcomes for the community. Refer to the Position Description for the hours of duty applicable to this position.
About you:

Proven experience in providing reliable and efficient administrative support in a busy team environment.

Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Communicate clearly and professionally, building positive working relationships across teams and with external stakeholders.

Confident in using Microsoft Office and document management systems to support reporting and compliance tasks.

Proactive and solutions-focused, contributing ideas to improve processes and service delivery.

Take pride in delivering excellent customer service and representing Council with professionalism.

Experience working in a rural or regional context is highly desirable.
