- $60,812 - $68,355 gross p.a. plus 11.5% Super plus allowances
- 38 hours per week with a 9 day fortnight, Monday to Friday

About the Role
This position is responsible for mowing and maintenance of 7 active and 8 historical cemetery grounds within the Shoalhaven with the occasional requirement for cemetery operations duties such as burials, internments and cremations. As part of the Shoalhaven Swim Sport Fitness, Central Precinct Team duties will also include maintenance of reserves, sports fields, showgrounds and open spaces as directed by the Precinct Coordinator.
This includes:
- Operate plant and light trucks to maintain cemetery grounds
- Assist with preparation and completion of graves, memorials, and cremations
- Carry out general maintenance, gardening and land care
- Assist occasionally with upkeep of other Council assets like sport fields and showgrounds
- Perform commercial cleaning and property maintenance works as directed
- Ensure compliance with legislation, Council policies and child safety protocols

Being available to be on-call and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement of this position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Certificate III in Horticulture, Arboriculture, Turf Management, Nursery Practice, Commercial Cleaning, or equivalent experience
- Current General Construction Induction Card (white card)
- Current Class MR Driver's Licence
- A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
