Responsible for coordinating the delivery of a high quality and cost effective integrated asset management framework, you will be supported by a small team of professionals. Together you will ensure the continuous improvement of asset data and system governance that facilitates the implementation of asset management policies, strategies and plans to achieve accurate reporting and asset performance. Ultimately, along with your team and key stakeholders, you will ensure that the City’s asset management maturity journey continues in a well-planned and timely manner.
You possess highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven experience managing a team to achieve strong results. You possess advanced knowledge in infrastructure and asset management systems and databases, and have a strong understanding of the technical aspects of asset management at both a strategic and operational level. A current and valid ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence is essential for this role.

- Strong capacity to lead, mentor, and build teams in a collaborative environment
- Extensive experience and advanced knowledge in strategic asset management, including systems, databases, principles, and techniques
- Advanced skills in applying valuation methodologies and maintaining accurate asset registers
- High-level project management skills, supported by excellent computer literacy and proficiency in relevant applications, to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills to engage stakeholders and achieve outcomes
- Demonstrated capability to manage budgets, forecast costs, and contribute to financial planning processes
- Sound knowledge of statutory requirements relevant to asset management and local government operations
- Degree in either Asset Management, Civil Engineering, Asset Accounting, Strategic Planning, Information Technology Systems, or significant industry experience across all requirements of the role.
We are offering a remuneration package of $141,581 to $150,216 per annum depending on knowledge, skills and experience, inclusive of an allowance of $10,000 per annum (paid quarterly) and superannuation; and
- The option to co-contribute up to a further 5% superannuation
