As our new Wellington Caves Administration Officer, you will be engaged in a diverse range of responsibilities that support the day-to-day operations of the Wellington Caves Tourism Complex. You will focus on delivering high-quality customer service, managing bookings and financial transactions, supporting marketing efforts, and contributing to the overall visitor experience. You would also assist with guided tours, café operations, and ensure the site is well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
You'll find growth through:
- Handling correspondence, bookings, reports, and assisting with promotional activities including social media.
- Managing point-of-sale transactions, providing visitor assistance, and ensuring a positive tourism experience.
- Conducting engaging and scripted cave tours in a friendly and inclusive manner.
- Supporting cafe service and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the site.
- Assisting with advertising campaigns, managing group itineraries, and coordinating with tourism partners.
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills which have been applied in dealing with the public in
the service industry.
- A commitment to and understanding of quality administration assistance and customer service.
- Demonstrated competence in financial administration, cashiering and banking duties.
- Experience in the hospitality, retail or tourism industry.
- Computer skills and competency in the use of Microsoft based software packages including Word, Excel and
PowerPoint.
We would also love you to have:
- Public speaking capability and/or having
previous tour guiding experience.

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $63,422 to $73,706.
