About the role
Are you passionate about strengthening community connections and partnerships?
We are seeking a Senior Community Stakeholder Officer to join our collaborative and forward-thinking Community Life and Activation team. The successful applicant will enhance or manage high priority relationships between Council and external community groups or organisations operating from Council facilities and spaces.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team to build partnerships, guide community initiatives, and help shape how our community connects with and uses Council facilities and spaces.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social sciences, community development, public relations, business administration or a related field
- Stakeholder engagement and relationship management experience
- Experience with community consultation and facilitation
- Proven ability to deliver strategic outcomes aligned with community priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, managing multiple priorities effectively
- Experience working in sensitive, multi-stakeholder environments
