About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Stadium General Assistant to join our team.
This role will assist with the day to day operation of Campbelltown Sports Stadium, including but not limited to basic repairs and maintenance of the stadium grounds and facilities; assisting in event and game preparations by ensuring it is clean, well maintained, safe and in a fit for purpose condition at all times; and monitor and provide access to Campbelltown Sports Stadium hire groups and contractors.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Ability to resolve conflict and deal with difficult customers
- Ability to have a "hands on", proactive and problem solving approach to work
- Ability to use and maintain hand tools and small power tools and undertake basic maintenance
- Working ability to utilise a computer and Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a small team, be self-motivated, and to work independently
- Experience in responding to and satisfying customer requests
- Ability to work flexible hours and days, including weekends and public holidays
- Current Class C Driver Licence
- A cleared “Working with Children Check” for paid work
- Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrated qualifications and/or experience in facility maintenance
