About the role:
The Strategic Land Use Team plays a pivotal role in guiding the future urban growth of the Campbelltown Local Government Area. We’re currently inviting applications for a Development Contributions Officer to join our team on a temporary part-time basis, 14 hours per week working Monday and Tuesday.
In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for monitoring and ongoing administration of development contributions plans. You’ll also undertake research regarding the development and implementation of Planning Agreements, local infrastructure contribution policies and plans and manage development bonds.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Relevant qualification and/or demonstrated experience in an appropriate field.
- Advanced experience in use of computerised spreadsheets and databases.
- Experience using Pathways, Iris, Finance 1 and or similar programs
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office environment.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting and bookkeeping.
- Excellent customer relations.
- Working ability to think laterally to solve problems.
- Ability to work without supervision and to manage time/work flow effectively.
- High level of mathematical accuracy.
- Working knowledge of the Planning & Assessment Act (1979) and Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation (2021) as it applies to the preparation, implementation and acquittal of Planning Agreements and Local Infrastructure Contribution Plans.
