Business Support Officer
Casual Pool
Hours: Varied
Salary: 39.23 - $51.06 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) + 12% Superannuation
We are seeking motivated and adaptable Casual Business Support Officers to join our BSO Pool and provide administrative support across a range of functional areas. This is a great opportunity to gain broad local government experience, work flexibly across multiple teams, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of Council.
What you'll do
This role offers flexible casual opportunities across multiple teams, supporting day-to-day operations and contributing to the effective delivery of Council services.
The Casual Pool Business Support Officers play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations, the majority of the roles are offered are administratively focused as a Business Support Officer however this role is flexible, and you may be offered work in the Libraries or Customer Experience, so we are looking for staff who are adaptable and open to change to gain entry into Council. If you have strong administration skill and can learn process and system quickly, we would love to hear from you.
The successful applicants will demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering quality customer service while complying with Council policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. This casual pool provides a valuable opportunity to gain experience across different Council teams and contribute to a responsive, well-supported workplace.
