- Salary: $105,927 - $120,707 gross p.a. plus 12% Super
- 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with the option of flexitime

About the Role
To lead and manage Council's Geographic Information Systems (GIS) function by ensuring the development, maintenance, and enhancement of GIS solutions that support organisational objectives. This includes:
- Maintain and manage Council's GIS Enterprise Configuration
- Providing expert support and coordination for GIS users and stakeholders.
- Leading the GIS team, to deliver efficient and compliant services
- Manage Road Naming, property creation and addressing
- Establishes objectives, timeframes and milestones for the Unit that supports the Community Strategic Plan and aligns operational activities accordingly

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification / Diploma / Associate Diploma in Geographic Information Systems or Survey Drafting, or equivalent extensive industry experience.
- Current Class C Driver's Licence
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)
- Proven success in translating business strategy into operational goals and activities and fostering a shared understanding of how these contribute to higher level objectives.
- A demonstrated knowledge and experience of ESRI Product Suite that includes ArcEnterprise, ArcGIS Pro, spatial data management including enterprise geodatabase administration
