- Salary: $118,248 - $135,701 gross p.a. plus 12% Super plus 5% Civil Liabilities Allowance

About the Role
The Water Operations Manager leads the day to day operation and maintenance of Council's water assets, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient water services for the community. The role manages operational teams, resources and service programs in line with Asset Management Plans, legislative requirements and Council policies, while driving continuous improvement and supporting organisational change initiatives, this includes:
- Management of large diverse teams
- Provide expert knowledge in water treatment including ability to fault find and adjust chemicals to optimise performance.
- Undertake project management on operational projects.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent or extensive relevant experience
- High level knowledge of best practice in asset utilisation and asset maintenance, including water operating frameworks and standards
- Experience in managing work groups to achieve maintenance plans
- Current Class C Driver's Licence
