JOB DESCRIPTION
We have an exciting opportunity for a planning professional to join our City Planning team. You will be working on some of the most exciting and challenging strategic planning projects in Western Sydney. Working within a collaborative and supportive team and reporting to the Coordinator of Strategic Planning you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of strategic land use policy to support our growing community.

ABOUT YOU
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:
- The preparation and processing of planning proposals, Local Environmental Plans, Development Control Plans and Voluntary Planning Agreements, or equivalent.
- Undertake strategic planning projects and studies in accordance with the Strategic Planning work program.
- Providing advice and interpretation of planning policy to staff, Councillors, and the public including the preparation of correspondence, reports and presentations
