Liverpool City Council is seeking Casual Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educators to join our dedicated and inspiring Children’s Services team. Our casual educators are a valued and essential part of our workforce, playing a key role in maintaining continuity, quality, and positive experiences for children and families across our services.

About the Role
As a Casual Diploma Educator, you will work alongside experienced Early Childhood Teachers and educators to support the delivery of engaging, high-quality, inquiry-based learning experiences for children.
Liverpool City Council operates six Early Education and Care Centres and two Preschools, all exceeding the National Quality Standards. Our educators, including our casual team members, take pride in delivering meaningful programs that positively impact children, families, and the wider community.
Casual educators are supported, welcomed into teams, and recognised for the important role they play in maintaining quality practice across our services.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking casual educators who:
- Thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy contributing to rich curriculums, rituals, and routine that foster curiosity and learning through enquiry.
- Value quality resources and loose parts and use them to create engaging and inspiring learning environments.
- Build nurturing, respectful, and responsive relationships with children.
- Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, along with current first aid and child protection training recognised by ACECQA.
- Have sound knowledge of child development, child safe practices, contemporary early childhood approaches, and relevant legislation and regulations.
