The role
CBCity is seeking an experienced and collaborative Technical Product Specialist to join our Information Communication and Technology (ICT) team. This permanent, full-time role will work across a variety of business systems such as SharePoint Online (SPO), Power Apps, Power Automate, Property, EDRMS and Council’s web platforms and integrations, supporting Council’s technology operations with deep technical insight, web support capability, and strong product knowledge.
As a key point of contact between users and systems, you will be responsible for providing expert-level product support, improving system performance, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring the alignment of technology solutions with Council’s broader objectives.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
• Deliver advanced technical support across specialised business applications
• Design and deliver product roadmaps and improvement strategies
• Coordinate product lifecycle management, security, and release planning
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into solutions
• Monitor service levels and system performance, reporting and resolving issues
• Conduct testing, documentation, and user support during upgrades and rollouts
• Liaise with vendors and external partners on system enhancements and fixes
• Lead or contribute to special ICT projects as required

You will have
• Tertiary qualifications in ICT or a related discipline or strong demonstrated experience in a similar technical product/ICT specialist role
• Extensive demonstrated experience working with any of the following solutions: Microsoft PowerPlatform, website development, Land Information/Property, EDRMS, CRM, Facilities Management,Library Management Systems, ERP, GIS, or similar enterprise business systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to manage technical issues under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience in customer-focused ICT operations and system administration
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing team environment
The salary for this opportunity starts at $115,347.64 (Grade I, Step 1) plus 12% super.
