We deliver 28 key services such as childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres to over 380,000 residents.
The role
We are looking for a Finance Officer to Join CBCity. Help us provide efficient and effective processing of accounts payable transactions to make sure our processes run smoothly. You will also be assisting in identifying and processing improvements to implement changes, ensuring accounts payable are compliant and building strong working relationships based on credibility and open communication.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Process accounts payable accurately, on time, and support process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with controls, audits, and statutory/tax requirements, including GST.
- Maintain accurate financial ledgers and complete AP reconciliations promptly.
- Support work planning and foster strong working relationships.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Team Leader AP.

You will have
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated ability to undertake the functions and responsibilities identified in this role
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow strict procedures and guidelines
- Highly developed interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise work
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIFS)
- Effective complaints handling skills and experience
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $71,820 (Grade D, Step 1) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
