Location: Queanbeyan
The Package: $85 737.6 - $ 94 737.76 gross per annum + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 12 of the QPRC Salary System 2025).
Fulltime - 38 hours per week. 9-day fortnight conditions may apply.
As a Senior Ranger, you’ll work in a pivotal role that combines mentoring, operational coordination, and hands-on work to make our community safer, cleaner, and more vibrant. This role is perfect for someone ready to use their expertise to guide others and take on higher-level responsibilities while contributing to the community in meaningful ways.
In this role you will:
- Mentor and support the Ranger team, while ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery to the community.
- Resolve complex compliance matters with professionalism and respect.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging positively with residents, businesses, and stakeholders to promote education and resolve issues effectively.
- Contribute to improving policies, procedures, and operations to enhance community outcomes and service efficiency.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and building positive relationships with the community.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Has a thorough understanding of relevant legislation
- Is highly organised, with the experience to manage competing priorities
