Teachers Health is seeking a Risk & Compliance Adviser to support the effective operation and continuous improvement of our risk, compliance and resilience frameworks.
Reporting to the Risk and Compliance Manager, this role combines business partnering with framework development responsibilities, namely our Operational Resilience Framework. You will work closely with Line 1 business units to provide practical guidance on risk, compliance and resilience matters, while helping to maintain and enhance the organisation’s resilience framework, governance processes, reporting, training and supporting systems.

What will you do?
- Act as a day‑to‑day adviser for assigned business units, providing practical guidance on risk, compliance and operational resilience matters.
- Support business stakeholders to identify, assess, document and manage risk, compliance and resilience activities.
- Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of Teachers Health's Operational Resilience Framework, including associated policies and procedures.
- Support resilience governance activities, including reporting, action tracking, framework reviews and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain high-quality risk, compliance and resilience information such as risk registers, action plans, reporting and data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with resilience testing, business continuity activities, change initiatives and other framework projects, taking ownership of assigned workstreams and deliverables.
- Support the design, development and use of the enterprise risk management system.
- Assist with the analysis of risk, compliance and resilience information and data for reporting and insights.
- Contribute to training and awareness activities that strengthen risk and resilience culture across the organisation.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in risk, compliance, governance, assurance or a related discipline.
- Experience working with risk and compliance systems, registers and reporting tools (Protecht experience highly regarded).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse information and prepare clear, well-structured documentation and reporting.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Experience in a regulated environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of private health insurance, operational resilience or business continuity practices will be highly regarded.
