We’re looking for an experienced Dental Practice Manager to take ownership of our busy Surry Hills Health Centre. About The Role
As Dental Practice Manager, you will lead a team of dental assistants and reception staff in a fully accredited, multi-chair environment. You’ll work closely with clinicians and senior leadership to ensure the centre runs efficiently, delivers excellent patient care, and maintains strong compliance and performance standards.
This is a visible, hands-on role where leadership, organisation and professionalism are key.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading, coaching and developing dental assistants and reception staff
- Managing rosters, onboarding, training and performance reviews
- Driving a positive, professional and accountable team culture
- Overseeing daily operations, chair utilisation and patient flow
- Ensuring compliance with infection control, WHS and accreditation standards
- Managing stock, ordering and equipment maintenance
- Handling patient feedback, including complaints and escalations
- Supporting billing, fee schedules and reporting accuracy
- Providing chairside or front desk support where needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Dental Practice Manager or senior dental leader
- Strong understanding of infection control and accreditation requirements
- A confident, emotionally intelligent leadership style
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A hands-on approach with a focus on team and patient experience
- Experience with OASIS & Examine Pro
