About The Role ...
As our Dental Practice Manager, you’ll lead a skilled team of dental assistants and receptionists in a fully accredited health centre. You’ll balance people leadership, operational oversight, and hands on support, working closely with dentists and senior leaders to deliver exceptional patient care and efficient practice operations.
You’ll play a key role in building a positive workplace culture while ensuring strong compliance, quality, and performance outcomes.

Practice Hours
Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Saturday: 8:30am - 2:30pm (occasional Saturdays with penalty rates)
What You’ll Be Doing …
- Leading, supporting and developing dental assistants and reception team members
- Managing rosters, onboarding, training, performance reviews and audits
- Promoting a positive, professional and inclusive team culture
- Overseeing daily operations, chair utilisation and patient flow
- Ensuring compliance with infection control, WHS and accreditation standards
- Managing stock control, ordering and equipment maintenance
- Handling patient feedback professionally, including complaints and compliments
- Overseeing billing, fee schedules and accurate financial reporting
- Supporting chairside assisting and reception as required
- Maintaining accurate, confidential patient records
What we're looking for ...
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Dental Practice Manager (or equivalent senior role)
- Strong knowledge of infection control and dental compliance standards
- Confident, emotionally intelligent leader with a hands-on approach
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- Strong commitment to patient centred care and operational excellence
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with OASIS, Examine Pro and HAMBS (highly regarded)
