Your new job The Parks and Gardens Coordinator plans, organises, and carries out maintenance work under Council’s Parks and Gardens program, covering areas such as parks, gardens, playgrounds, sportsgrounds, streetscapes, cemeteries, and town entrances. This role leads the Parks and Gardens team and is responsible for the planning, maintenance, and continuous improvement of these areas. The position also ensures Council’s plant and equipment are used safely and properly to support this work, making sure all areas are well-presented, safe, and environmentally sustainable. |

You - Hold a Certification in Horticulture (or similar qualification) or equivalent relevant experience
- Hold a Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Have a Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position coordinating parks and gardens maintenance and construction works
- Have delivered capital works and have demonstrated contractor management experience
This role requires a satisfactory National Police History Criminal Check prior to commencing. The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $3,602.60-$4,054.60 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $93,667.60-$105,419.60 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience). |
