FINANCE OFFICER - FULL-TIME OR JOB SHARE ARRANGEMENT

You will have the opportunity to work in different area of Finance and contribute to continuous improvement

Your new job

Apply your accounting or business administration skills to ensure Council's financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time
Your tasks over each month will be diverse and you will develop a range of skills in Council's receipting, general ledger, corporate card management, accounts payable and payroll processes
Contributing to Council's financial management and reporting requirements, including audit and team efficiency
35-hour week, with an RDO every 4 weeks - job share arrangement may be considered

About you:

Certificate IV in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent experience being at least a minimum three (3) years demonstrated experience in business administration roles encompassing management reporting, accounts payable, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, other general reconciliations, stock takes, and taxation administration;
Substantial experience using financial software packages;
Highly developed written and oral communication skills;
Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers;
High level of attention to detail and accuracy;
Demonstrated ability to contribute to team goals and create innovative solutions;
Highly developed computing skills, with particular emphasis on Microsoft suite of packages and financial software packages;
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage workload to meet agreed outcomes and deadlines;

This role requires a satisfactory National Police History Criminal Check prior to commencing.

The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $2,712.20-$3,052.90 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $70,517.20 - $79,375.40 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
