About the Role
Shoalhaven Water is currently seeking Undergraduate Casual Student (Geospatial and Asset Data) to join our professional work experience program!
This position is based in Nowra and will work on a casual basis. It is expected that you are able to commit to 1-2 shifts per week and are willing to take on more during university break.
The focus of this position is to:
- To assist the Asset Data Coordinators in the management of Shoalhaven Water's asset data
- To assist with geospatial data input, update, maintenance and management
- To assist with asset register input, update, maintenance and management
- To provide assistance with registration of drawings and documents associated with SW's drawing and document register
- To provide assistance with data handling and processing in consultation with SW's Senior Water Asset Improvement Advisor
- To participate in projects as allocated.

About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Current enrolment in One of the below:
- Undergraduate Geospatial Scientist - studying towards Bachelor of Geospatial Science or equivalent (minimum 1 years completed), or Environmental Science, Engineering or Surveying that include Geospatial studies.
- Undergraduate Data Scientist - studying towards Bachelor of Data Science and Analytics or equivalent (minimum 1 years completed), or Data Analyst, or Data Management
- Cert III in Surveying and Spatial Information Services or equivalent
- Current Class C Driver's Licence
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)
