- Salary: $64,207 - $72,166 gross p.a. plus 12% Super

About the Role
This role delivers high‑quality administrative and customer service support to the Building & Property Services team, assisting internal and external customers with enquiries, coordinating service requests, and providing efficient accounts payable support.
Reporting directly to the Business & Compliance Coordinator, the main duties of this role include:
- Provide high level of administrative assistance, accounts payable and customer service to internal and external customers and clients of Building & Property Services relating to advice, assistance, or services.
- Work efficiently within the Work Management system in OneCouncil, following processes and procedures to ensure work requests are responded to in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide administrative support to the Coordinator and Building Planning & Compliance team, including development of documentation and use of Council's systems.
- Organise meetings and appointments, including agenda development, minute taking and resources.
- Ensure accounts payable tasks are actioned in an accurate and timely manner and resolve discrepancies using problem solving skills with both internal and external clients.
- Ensure verbal and written information provided to customers is correct, factual, timely and in accordance with relevant Council Guidelines and Policies.
- Respond to grievances and handle difficult customers ensuring that customer complaints are dealt with promptly and in accordance with Council's policies.

About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Office Administration or equivalent, or equivalent experience in administration assistant, accounts payable and customer service role
- Demonstrated effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience and competence in the use of software and applications, i.e Microsoft products
- Proof of right to work in Australia
- Experience in Accounts Payable processes
