Team Leader Service Desk
About the Role
Maitland City Council is seeking a Team Leader Service Desk to coordinate the daily operations of our Service Desk and deliver high quality support to our internal stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for prioritising, investigating, and overseeing the resolution of incidents affecting Council's ICT environment. You will work collaboratively with the broader ICT team to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring stakeholder needs are accurately assessed and addressed with solutions that align with business objectives.
You will also support the coordination, deployment, and lifecycle management of devices for staff across the organisation.
As a leader, you will coach and mentor team members to build capability, foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the effective and efficient running of the Service Desk.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will hold a Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or hold an equivalent combination of relevant contemporary industry experience, supported by education and training.
You will possess strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service. You will have the ability to communicate with diverse audiences, with proven diagnostic skills and the ability to tailor solutions to suit the users need in line with business requirements.
You will also have previous leadership experience, with demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring teams whilst modelling Maitland City Council's values.

This is a permanent full-time role, working 35 hours per week with a salary ranging from $98,093 - $108,883 + 12% super. Council also offers a range of benefits for its employees including:
