- Salary: $66,343 - $74,571 gross p.a. plus 12% Super plus Adverse Level 1 Allowance

About the Role
This role leads the daily operation of mechanical and electrical plant systems within the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), providing hands‑on technical leadership to ensure production targets and WHS standards are met. The position involves proactive fault diagnosis, resolving system issues, and overseeing routine maintenance to support a high‑throughput recycling operation. This includes:
- Maintain direct communication with the MRF Supervisor.
- Maintain daily records, including bale counts, time, and productivity reports.
- Maintain positive communication with internal and external clients.
- Assist in implementing department policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
- Coordinate training with the Recycling Supervisor to ensure staff are up to date with MRF operations, including proper safety training.
- Maintain the recycling facility in a clean, well-organised manner, avoiding clutter and potential fire hazards.

Being available to be on-call and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement of this position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Certificate III in Waste Management, Trade or Civil Construction Plant Operations or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in a mechanical, industrial, or waste processing environment. Minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role preferred
- Current Class HR Driver's Licence
- LF Forklift licence required or within first 3 months of employment.
- Current NSW General Construction induction card (white card)
- Proof of right to work in Australia
