About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Concretor/Skilled Labourer to deliver a wide range of construction and maintenance works across Council assets. This hands‑on role involves concreting, general labouring, plant and truck operation, and supporting works crews to ensure high‑quality, safe, and compliant outcomes across the district.
Some of the key duties of this role include:
- Undertake manual tasks including but not limited to shovelling, screeding, raking, digging, lifting and traffic control
- Operate and maintain small plant items such as chainsaws, plate compactors, jack picks, concrete saws, electric power tools, vegetation trimmers, etc
- To work under routine supervision and direction either individually or in a team environment on a range of projects
- Deliver quality workmanship in all tasks
- Complete standard paperwork such as timesheets and daily site safety checklists both written and electronically.
- Operate and maintain medium heavy plant items, rollers, heavy and light rigid trucks as required
- Undertake concreting tasks to completion

Being available to be on-call and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement of this position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- School Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum of 12 months' work experience in civil construction and/or maintenance activities
- Minimum NSW Class MR Driver's Licence or equivalent licence valid in NSW
- 'Traffic Controller' and 'Implement Traffic Control Plans' or willingness to obtain
- Current NSW General Construction Induction Card (Whitecard) or acceptable interstate alternative.
- Proof of right to work in Australia
