JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated person to assist with project management on the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants (WSIG) Program - Streetscapes (Railway, Scott, and Macquarie) projects.
Ideally you would come from a civil engineering background and have experience in project management.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will possess:
- Project and Contract Management: Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating civil infrastructure or streetscape construction projects, including program management, budget and cost control, risk management, WHS compliance, quality assurance, and assisting with the assessment of variations, contractor claims, and contract administration.
- Construction Coordination: Demonstrated ability to coordinate construction activities and stakeholders, review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, provide timely design and technical information to contractors, resolve project issues, and support the successful delivery of streetscape construction works within complex urban environments.
- Qualifications & Licenses: Current Class C Driver License and a relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g. Project Management, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Planning, Engineering, Recreation) or equivalent trade/trainee experience.
- Knowledge & Skills: Sound understanding of WHS, EEO, and ethical practices, with an awareness of diversity principles. Knowledge of customer service in a local government context, and familiarity with procurement processes, including preparing tender documents and technical specifications.

The salary (within the above-mentioned range) will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant.
