We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable individual to join our team as the Coordinator – Hillview Intercultural & Community Centre on a permanent full-time basis. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operations of one of the City’s most vibrant community facilities, supporting programs and initiatives that celebrate cultural diversity and foster community connection.

About the role
Hillview Intercultural Community Centre is the first facility of its kind in the southern corridor of Perth — a vibrant hub designed to celebrate diversity, build capacity and bring people together. As Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Centre, ensuring the delivery of inclusive, innovative and customer-focused services. This is a hands-on leadership role combining operations, stakeholder engagement, programming and team coordination.
A snapshot of your new role:
- Coordinate daily facility operations
- Lead and support employees and volunteers to deliver high-quality customer service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, NFPs and government agencies
- Roster and supervise volunteers to support the provision of information services and other opportunities that respond to the needs of Canning’s diverse community
Who we’re looking for:
- Qualifications in Community Development, Community Services or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in facility management
- Demonstrated ability to drive positive work performance and effectively manage employees and volunteers.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships with people from a range of cultural backgrounds
- Demonstrated experience developing partnerships that deliver positive outcomes for communities
- Class C Australian Driver’s Licence
- Current Satisfactory National Police Clearance
