The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with contract/project management experience to become an integral part of our Infrastructure Delivery and Operations team.
In this role you will provide professional advice on projects and contract management for the development, delivery and maintenance of civil infrastructure. You will be responsible for supervising the execution and performance of contracts as required, ensuring that the project is carried out in accordance with the approved design plans, budget allocations and time constraints whilst adhering to safety and environmental codes, Council standards and procedures.
As the Civil Engineer you will be required to manage and maintain relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders including contractors, employees, consultants, government agencies, public utilities and the community in the development and implementation of civil infrastructure projects.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will possess degree qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, which will be complemented with contemporary industry knowledge and experience in civil infrastructure contract development and implementation.
You will have strong verbal and written skills, including the ability to write comprehensive reports. The successful incumbent will also have the proven ability to establish effective working relationships within Council and externally, experience in project management including stakeholder coordination and timeline management.
A current Class C driver's license is also required.

This is a full-time, permanent role working a 35-hour week, with a base salary range of $102,017.24 - $113,238.84 per year based on demonstrated competencies + 12% super.
