Due to Maitland City Council's commitment to ongoing asset management maturity, our team is experiencing significant growth with a number of new opportunities available!
Our Coordinator Civil Asset Management will play a key role in shaping the future of Council's civil infrastructure. Leading a team of Civil Asset Engineers and Civil Asset Planners, you will oversee the strategic planning and long-term management of civil infrastructure, including roads, bridges, drainage, footpaths and other essential community assets.
You will lead asset lifecycle planning activities, inform infrastructure investment decisions and prioritise renewal projects. You will drive the development of asset management plans and renewal programs, providing expert advice on asset performance, risk, renewal priorities and long-term infrastructure planning.
Working collaboratively across Council, with contractors, and other key stakeholders, you will build strong partnerships to deliver sustainable infrastructure outcomes. Most importantly, you will help ensure Council's assets continue to support our growing city by providing safe, reliable and resilient infrastructure for our community.
About you:
To be successful within this role, you will have degree qualifications in Civil Engineering, Asset Management, or a related discipline. Additionally, you will also have:
- Experience in civil asset management, including lifecycle planning, condition assessment, risk management, asset valuation and renewal modelling for infrastructure assets.
- Experience in preparing business cases, capital works programs and experience using asset management, and financial and GIS systems.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, empower and develop teams to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Benefits:
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, working a 35-hour week, with a base salary range of $135,845 - $150,788 per year + 12% super + $15,000 Motor Vehicle Allowance. A 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance is also afforded to eligible candidates.
