We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to oversee Council’s environmental regulatory and compliance services. In this key role, you will provide strategic and operational direction aligned with the Community Strategic Plan, ensuring strong legislative compliance, effective governance and risk management. You will drive efficient, customer-focused and digitally enabled service delivery, while fostering a safe and collaborative team culture. Proven leadership experience in environmental compliance or regulation, with strong knowledge of relevant legislation and governance frameworks. Demonstrated ability to manage risk, lead teams and deliver customer-focused services. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in performance reporting, digital service delivery and driving continuous improvement within a complex organisational environment.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $161,533 gross per annum
+ 12% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
