About the role:
The Project Manager will ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
This role ensures the successful delivery of operational projects, while ensuring alignment with the customer, and Toll’s broader requirements and operational goals.
Primary responsibilities:
Oversee the full project lifecycle, from project scoping, planning, and resourcing to execution, monitoring, and completion
Develop and maintain detailed project plans and budgets, including schedules/timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables as required
Proactively identify risks and issues associated with projects and implement effective mitigation strategies and/or plan(s)
Ensure all projects comply with relevant customer security, regulatory, and quality standards and company policies
Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications between Toll’s internal teams, the customer, and external vendors to ensure alignment of project activities with operational goals
Contribute to the development and refinement of project management processes, tools, and systems to improve operational efficiency and project outcomes
Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in project delivery, particularly in areas that impact the customer’s current logistics operations and overall customer satisfaction
Provide status reporting and facilitate regular project update meetings, ensuring clear and effective communication of progress, challenges, and resolutions
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Previous project management experience within Government logistics preferrably
Eligibility for (and maintain) an Australian AGSVA Security Clearance of NV1
Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams, complex projects, and operational change initiatives
Qualifications in Logistics and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)/PRINCE2 certification
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
